Fundamentals of technology allows students to have hands on experiences in many different areas of technology. Students participate in team building and student-centered projects to build a foundation of knowledge in the technology field. They are exposed to exclusive equipment. Topics include problem solving, design, testing, evaluation, as well as the history of technology and its impacts on society. Students experience activities in the six areas of technology: communication, construction, manufacturing, biotechnology, energy and power, and transportation.
